New IZZO Vivi PID

Why a PID technology for a single boiler? According to Izzo's research a PID controlled boiler works more efficiently and precisely, granting you very good performance, compared to a similar machine using a pressure stat as interface with the element.

But the new Vivi PID is not only that: see the feature listed here below to understand how many times new is this machine is:

1. No More Pressure Stat: to assist the PID’s accuracy in his job we put a Solid State Relay, which is more reliable and silent.

2.New Calibrated Security Valve TÜV Certified: a much more security and sensitive device at a very important position.

3.Vacuum Breaker Valve: no more danger of steam/drops sprinkled inner the machine environment.

4.Insulated Boiler: better efficiency, less energy consumption and cooler machine’s inside environment.

5.New Stainless Steel Steam and Water Wand with Nut Covering (see picture)

6.New Chrome Polished Aluminum Feet (see picture).

PLEASE NOTE

The PID can be used to alter the temperature but as the Vivi is single boiler altering the temperature has a direct effect on the boiler pressure so the range of adjustment is limited. We strongly advise that the temperature is kept within the 124 -126 degrees giving a boiler pressure of 1.25 - 1.4 bar

This will provide water at a good temperature for steam and making espresso. Increasing the temperature too high will result in the boiler pressure being too high and the machine running too hot conversely reducing the temperature will reduce the steam efficiency
