" Mike and I roasted our first beans on Thursday evening, what a superb machine (GeneCafe), easy to use and with the green beans you sent produced the best coffee with the best crema we have yet tasted – ever! – The coffee flavour was balanced, full of flavours with no bitterness.
We roasted both types you sent and were able to clearly determine the flavours between the two types.
We then mixed a blend of the two and created another flavour. Fantastic. We were using Mike’s machine and the thickness of the crema was better than that found on a head of Guinness!"

"Izzo Vivi Thank you rodney, I'm really impressed with your service and helpfullness and advice. I am delighted with the izzo vivi.
Have the machine up and running all over the weekend , and all my expressos look like a mini pint of guiness so far, takes about 25 secs to do a shotglass, guess thats good.
I am starting to appreciate Expresso now :) Not quite got the hang of steaming it steams fast! found out that the little plastic washer on the steamer is the same size as the ones that come with the braun electric toothbrush, yip i dropped the one that came with the machine, have to hunt for it later.
I appreciated the manual you did, the manufactuers one is not too clear. Might want to add which pipe the water filter is attached to in the instructions, and i guess it needs removing when its descale time, it was easy to guess just pulled out the pipe till the machine complained of no water.
Think i'm going to have to invest in one of your stainless drawers to put it on and keep all the tools in, and knock out the grinds into, and a mat for the cups. Thanks again and i'm sure i'll have to part with some more money soon "

"Izzo Alex Grinder Mazzer Mini Timer...In fact the hopper was correct Rodney I must say a big thanks, from getting the machine on Friday afternoon, I haven’t stopped “playing”….

The wife’s first reaction was “What the hell do you want this just for coffee…..?”
Probably because we had to completely rearrange the kitchen (Mazzer came with the large hopper!) and the Alex was slightly too big to go under the cupboard. Then came the first few complete disaster shots…. Then the wasted litres of milk.. but with a few hours and determination I made her a cappuccino…. And she sorta liked it…. 3 attempts later and it was getting to costa standards.. and I kept at it. Saturday morning I pulled a great one, made her a cappuccino and woke her with it… she loved it, and while I was making me one she asked for another. I went out (to test ride a new bike) and 5 hours later I was back at my mates, then my mobile rang… it was the wife “When are you coming home, all I have had is tea, I want a nice coffee…..”
We had a few last night, then before bed I wanted another one, she went to bed… but as soon as she heard the beans dropping in to the hopper she was downstairs like the junkie she has become… “Can I have one please dear….?” Lovely…. J "

"The machines are an Izzo Vivi and an Isomac Granmacinino Hello Rodney, I thought I would drop you a line to let you know how I'm getting on with the new machine(s).
Very well in brief! I must admit that it initially took quite a few coffees straight into the sink to get good results and have been studying your excellent user guide and various web-based guides but today, suddenly I made an espresso like no other I've ever had. Half an hour later I did it again. What a fantastically easy machine to use and satisfying for it too. I have no regrets whatsoever about spending more than I'd wanted to initially.

Firstly the heat exchanger design is so much easier to use than the old Krups job I had before and more importantly, the quality of the resulting coffee, even my earlier attempts, is incomparable.
If my local coffee scrounging visitors try telling me again they can't see why I don't drink instant like everyone else... I'll ban them.
I've used your very good Mocha Italia blend from the off and must say, it's also a contributing factor... Many thanks for your advice and help while ordering - again, I'm glad I went the extra step to this type of machine. J.G."
