HARIO began manufacturing heatproof glass in the 1920s. With hundreds of design awards and innovations behind them, HARIO continue to make the finest, most desirable equipment for manual brewing of tea and coffee. The V60 system, Hario's most famous invention, has spearheaded interest in manual coffee brewing because of it's exceptional transparency — the characteristics of the origin, varietal and roast are allowed to emerge from the coffee. Older techniques such as the syphon also have unique qualities that speak to many people's preferences.
