  1. Sonny asks about Rocket Faustino Grinder - Black 30 Sep 2019

How does the rocket frostino compare to the lux D from la marzocco

    1. David Lombari answers 7 Oct 2019

      Hi, thanks for the question.

If you mean the Rocket Fausto* then that would compare well. I've not used a Lux D but it features 61mm burrs rather than 64mm on the Fausto (and Mazzer Mini upon which it's based). Generally speaking the larger the burrs the more consistent and higher quality the grind.

The Fausto is also more user friendly than the Mazzer grinders as you can take it apart easily to clean and don't have to re-calibrate it once it's put back together.

*If you meant the Faustino then that's only 50mm burrs so step up to get better quality extractions.

      I hope that helps.

      Regards,
      David
