Brazil Atalaia - DEMETER Biodynamic Coffee

One of our favourite coffees from our longstanding direct trade partner and biodynamic pioneer Henrique Sloper. Grown at the Atalaia farm in the Pedra Azul region of Brazil, this natural processed coffee is the Red Iapar 59 variety which is a hybrid developed at the International Rust Center in 1975. It is certified biodynamic, which is the most sustainable method of agriculture and produces stunning results.

Atalaia is super sweet, with lots of brown sugar and blackberry. The acidity is like red apple, with a medium body and dark chocolate on the finish. Its reminds us of an apple and blackberry crumble.
